Founded
Biomemory is officially founded by Erfane Arwani (CEO), Pierre Crozet, and Stéphane Lemaire, combining backgrounds in computer science and DNA academic research.
Proof of concept
First-ever archival of the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen and the Declaration of the Rights of Woman and of the Female Citizen onto synthetic DNA, in partnership with the French National Archives.

With a successful €17M Series A funding round completed in early 2025, we are now poised for rapid growth, aiming to expand our team from 25 to 50 by the end of 2025.

Most of our roles are onsite at our Paris office, located at 5 Impasse Reille (75014). The space combines modern workspaces with cutting-edge labs, encouraging daily collaboration between teams across engineering, biology, and operations.
We’ll soon be relocating to our new headquarters in central Paris (metro Jussieu, line 7). This modern, accessible location will enhance our connection with the city’s vibrant academic and research communities while offering an inspiring place to work and grow.
We value your time and aim to keep the recruitment process as efficient as possible, typically reaching a decision within one month. While we don’t filter candidates based on diplomas or seniority, we do assess skills through practical tests and a series of interviews to ensure the best fit for the role.
